Lady Jane's Upbringing and Thomas Seymour's Ambition
In this chapter, they discuss Lady Jane Grey's upbringing and her close relationship with Catherine Parr. After Catherine's death, Jane returns to Thomas Seymour's household and becomes involved in his plans to gain power. However, his attempt to abduct King Edward and marry him off to Jane fails, resulting in Thomas's arrest and execution. Jane's father also uses her in his own testimony to prove that the family has no interest in her marrying Edward.
