The Importance of Personal Responsibility in Politics

I was always the optimist in politics. Now I've become this tremendous pessimist. It's a very uncomfortable position. The Republican Party is sort of selling, losing $5 in every sale and hoping to make it up in volume. So I just kind of can't pretend that it's going to work because maybe we could get one more election out.
