Is It Possible to Control All Televisions on Earth?

A question from andreaz on twitter. He wanted to know if it would be possible to invent a remote control that could control simultaneously all the televisions on earth, h presumably to brain wash people or just to sell them ino late night products. I think the right prank could definitely push humanity over the edge. So like it you're watching the seasond final, like tiger king, and someo you cut to an endless commercial society would crumble. An that's what i'm thinking.
