The Foundation of Discipleship
Imitation is the foundation of discipleship. If we see jesus doing something, we can imitate it. Husbands, love your wives as christ loved the church and gave himself up for her could be imitated by paul. The catechism says in paragraph 26 o two, jesus private time with the father,. His words and his works are the visible manifestation of his prayer in secret. That means that what he talked to the father about in secret and prayer, was manifested in his words and his work throughout the day.
