If chess was invented to day, there's no chance that this would be the normal time control because it's so stupid. The statistics in the records are so important in baseball on that any even minor change would just throw them all out the window. I mean, nine innings, like, just doesn't. Just don't speed up the game verse not speeding up the game. It means the same.
