Is Leo Strauss a Subversive?

glinand: I think leo strauss's insights about a simply cryptic knowledge and writing in a way that's asoteric. i thought i was crazy when i first encountered it, but i feel like the 19 nineties were much more open time. To day, to be able to communicate in an esoteric way with a select subset, and use it using public channels like you can communicate in plain sight is very useful. And so i think th that insight is pretty deep, and i think people should take it much more seriously. Glinand: The norm of human affairs has not been kindlike open minded liberalism.
