Is There a New Vaccine Variant?
The more people who are vaccinated, the less chance the virus has to mutate and develop new strains. Africa has a very low vaccination rate, so it's not surprising that that would be a wonderful incubator for new vaccine strains. The idea that new variants can pop up at any time without warning should give a greater sense of urgency to getting our vaccine rates up as high as possible. They've received petitions to transfer the case to other circuits. Asking the sixth circuit to send it to another circuit seems like a fool's errand.
