Searching for Companies in the Swiss German Region
In Switzerland, I still remember pulling out the statistic and we even had an investor deck that we said, oh, there's 50,000 companies that are kind of vacant for succession. But if you search in a geography where you already have some network, even if it's not the most senior network, I think it can be hugely instrumental to somebody successfully running a business. There is going to be one exception to every situation with each seller being from different country or region. And I like to think about investors who are thinking during this specific case. The odds are just much smaller if you're not from the same place as your potential buyer. During the search, your audience is that one owner
