The Importance of a Strong European Identity in Brexit
Many British Asians with a very strong British national identity, but they don't feel an ounce of European-ness. And I think what was really interesting for them, which is also very depressing, was the fact that many of you wanted to portray this as a racist enterprise. Many people might not have much of an opinion of politicians in our own country, but what Brexit did was ultimately restore that accountability at the national level.
