O'Neill and Sufon Lied to the CIA and the FBI
FBI agents John O'Neill and Ali Sufon asked the CIA for intel on Al Qaeda. The two organizations started bickering over what information they had. Michael Schoyer, a former CIA operative, said FBI was reckless in its pursuit of intelligence. He says it may have been lying to them about having phone records from an Al Qaeda planning meeting in Malaysia.
