#286: Can babies be intolerant to dairy foods and cow’s milk protein? If your baby had blood and/or mucous in the stool early on in infancy you may have switched to a hypoallergenic formula or if breastfeeding then mom started cutting things out of her diet like dairy or soy. But when the baby starts eating solid foods do you have to still avoid these foods? My guest is leading pediatric food allergy and infant nutrition researcher Marion Groetch, MS, RDN who will be teaching about Food Protein Induced Allergic Proctocolitis (FPIAP) and how to handle this quickly resolving type of non-Ig-E mediated food allergy.
