The Importance of Backpacking in a Regional Area

We met in Queensland when we were both doing our scuba diver instructors course. A big cyclone that watched a lot of the reef away at that particular time we were there, which basically washed away our jobs as well. We didn't make it down to Exmouth to do those scuba diving jobs. We stayed in Caratha. And for backpackers during the boom time in a regional area, it's a really good opportunity to make some money. It just made us feel, slowly made this town feel a little bit more home in those early days.
