Why CEOs Seem to Be Doing Very Little as They Have It
We still don't have that many companies that have set clear targets to stay below the 1.5 degree warming, he says. For many CEOs, there's a shorter term outlook for us and some of the related costs involved up front they're not willing to take. And last but not least, the inability to act alone on some of the things. It's important that first and foremost, we show global solidarity for a problem that is frankly created in this part of the world. We would be well-served to spend part of our GDP on helping these countries adapt and mitigate.
