The illusion took over a year to create and was accomplished by piecing together audio, physical characteristics and movements from performances recorded before Tupac's death. These days, digital humans are taking on the jobs of entertainers in increasingly nuanced ways. I was programmed to believe that I was 19-year-old, half-Brazilian, half-Spanish girl named L'Ekela.
