How to Start a Breathing Exercise

Breathing exercises are one of these things that you know all this evidence shows are helpful. One really simple breathing exercise to start with is inhaling slowly through your nose for four counts and then exhaling for six counts. It's also super helpful to have a visual so there's an app that we like called breath ball. There's also these expansion balls that you can get from Amazon to kind of visually show the opening and the closing which is very important. Some stretching and exercises can also be helpful so reaching your hands up to the ceiling, counting to 10 taking some deep breaths.
