The quantum suicide experiment shows up in Alan Wake, the video game. You can only even if it's a real thing, you can only ever prove to yourself that the multiverse is real. If I lost the lotto, then I'm absolutely guaranteed to perceive myself as winning the lotto. And I'm going to get to live as a millionaire for rest of my life and I don't care about the other universes where I no longer exist right. So basically, under this way of thinking, you can never perceive yourself actually dying. This is the kind of darker side of quantum immortalitywhere you will always perceive yourself as living long enough so all your loved ones die too.
