The Worst, the Better

The Polish people were ready for any sacrifice just to get rid of the hated oppressive socialism that my father worked so hard to put in place. Anything that even remotely hurt communists was cheered by the Poles. They would turn off their city lights every month on the same day that started martial law to show solidarity against the regime.
