The Shahid 136, as far as I know, is pretty basic technology. Russia obviously turns to Iran because Iran had a rating available product for Russia. But Iran has been under US sanctions since the mid 80s. Yeah, it's a very effective strategy. And they were able to turn that into a relatively capable and really scary in the sense of what it represents when you use the large numbers.
