Under the case law here from the force circuit which covers maryland, the fact that police presence ultimately caused the defend to forego completion of the crime in no way establishes an abandonment of the attempt. And two, did he abandon his plan to attempt the murder when he called nine one one himself to say that he was planning to murder justice cavanagh. But there's a big problem in his defense.
