Sticking With Tongues
When you use idiomatically, that means the words don't have their normal meaning. For example, imagine I see Craig eating his 10th chocolate biscuit. Not unusual. So we're not going to do that. We're going to talk about the expression to bite your tongue - which is more aggressive than biting with teeth. It just means I'm going to stop myself from saying something that I really like to say, but I'm not going to say it. That's a different expression for 'sticking with tongues'
