There are some pre-offense behaviors that suggest that maybe the only intent was to kill mom and dad. But there are some post-offence behaviors and actions of the killers that I believe indicate otherwise. One thing that is not in question is the this little fact that they were going to use a soda bottle as some type of silencer or suppressor. So this would be to muffle the sounds of the gunshots. And again, whoever happens to be there is who could end up being a victim that night.
