Sally Kohn: We all want to believe of ourselves that the harder we work, if we just work hard enough, we can advance in American society. So I'm often concerned that, man, is it possible for the true story to win when the false story is so much more fun and so much more something that we want to believe? And what I love about your work is that I feel that you've really been able to make the truth compelling.
