How to Inactivate a Memory in Mice
We are not at the point where we can go into a mouse and target any memory that we have given the mouse. What we can do, which is actually a step in that direction,. Andit is just illustrates that we understand how these memories are being formed. How they are getting to certain cells but not others. Is fact that we can change those cells and then dramatically change the probability that they will be involved in memory. Later on, because we can inactivate tem we can get em out of the picture once we askin the animal to recall them.
