Mappa's Bad Working Conditions

A lot of newbie animators who are eager to try their stuff just get a lot of underpaid correcting work that like they're just expected to play along with. The whole anime industry really is at a crisis point where all the old masters are gone. We live in a world where chainsaw man and demon slayer merchandise is flying off the shelves, but the actual production costs are still being nickel and dime the whole way down. That can only get you so far before you just burn out an entire generation of talent and no one's there to replace it.
