The Parallels Between Warfare and Business Agility

The first World War soldiers weren't very agile, were they? And technology changed and it basically created a quagmire. I think there's a parallel with business agility in the business sense that the environment today is changing to such an extent that industrial ideas can take hold. But ultimately, I think business agility is a response from the business world to the environment changing around them.
