When republicans want to get something deeply unpopular enacted or overturned, usually they just kind of lean on their sha a judges and don't try to do it legislatively. So the fact that they are proposing counter legislation that's like, we need to stop this from happening to me betrays a confidence that they have that their branding of student loan forgiveness will resognate with their voters. They believe that they're extremely on line, angry, twitter, facebook base will come out to vote for them or be angered by this. And i think they're sort of misreading the electorate on this one.
