The Importance of Individuality

I lived in a communist society it was relatively open everything was not bad but at a certain point those in power made an ingenious decision they no longer put you to trial or whatever if you were telling dirty jokes against those in power there was even a rumor that they fabricated themselves jokes. It's similar with with counterculture I mean Yugoslav communists were much more intelligent they supported they tolerated drugs and so on.
