I get invited to these kinds of shindakes every once in a while. And as one can imagine, if you're having conversations about the issues of the day, there are a couple of issues where if I'm likely to pipe up and say something, it might kind of animate conversation. Even people who don't like me end up liking me. It's so interesting to hear how these conversations happen because I heard an assertion twice over the course of the last couple of days that equity is essentially a founding principle of the United States. The idea that no matter where you come from or what your background is, you have an equal shot achieving success is not at all fun to find.
