LED stands for Light-Amitting Diode Therapy. It was developed by NASA and used in plant growth experiments on board the space shuttle in the 80s. LED lights are thought to penetrate your skin at different depths and cause various reactions in your skin based on the color of the lights. Blue light can help kill bacteria that causes acne, red helps stimulate collagen production and then encourages the skin's natural healing process. How much should a facial really cost?
