Detecting Fungal Pathogens Like Aspergillus?
We need to develop a lens to actually detect these fungi when they emerge early enough that we have a chance of doing something about it. Aspergillus is everywhere and it just quietly rots down our composts and the breading up, bread bin and so on and so forth. We're very, very good at dealing with the spores unless we have a predisposing risk factor. So again, paying more attention to biosecurity is necessary to slow their spread.
