John Cateas and George Weber's Murder

John Cateas was charged with second-degree murder in the death of George Weber. The victim had posted on Craig's list that he was seeking a night of passion with a younger man. According to his social media profiles, John Cateas is a self-declared Satanist and has a penchant for extreme sadism. His father agreed to take part in a sting operation which resulted in him being arrested after returning home to collect $300. He was sentenced to 25 years to life; some believe it was a hate crime against gay men.
