The Average Cost to Upgrade the Grid to Renewables

The average cost is between $10,000 and $20,000 for the installation of a heat pump. The Army Corps of Engineers Infrastructure Report card says it would cost nearly $200 billion by 2029 to upgrade the grid to current standards. We've got to be looking at half a trillion up to a trillion dollars to do the types of grid upgrades we're talking about here.
