The Importance of Freelance Journalism
The Indian Post was a very young paper full of just brilliant people. I mean, there was just an energy and a buzz that Vinod Mehta brought with him to the paper. So we were about 15 of us helped by the Bombay Union of journalists taking out this paper every day. It's an old story. The Indian post folded up actually. Vinod went on to forming a new paper. I did not go at that time. I was young idealistic and foolish and believed I will stay on in the end.
