Plato's Dialogues

In late antiquity, plato's adherents often called him divine. They believed that the dialogues contained inspired and superhuman truths. In early first century a d we find middle platonist doctrines showing up in rather unexpected context of jewish philosophy and theology. Philo will give us our first chance to see greek philosophy interacting with the abrahamic religions.
