There's a whole field of body psychotherapy, somatic psychotherapy. When we move our bodies in different ways or you touch your body in different ways, the feelings arise. The easiest way to avoid feeling all those icky feelings is to not move, not touch, not ask, not enjoy. Stay in my narrow way of being. Then I can avoid my shame.
