The History of the Akron Airship

The Akron continued its missions, though it stayed on the West Coast for several weeks. It traveled north to the Canadian border and participated in scouting fleet exercises similar to the one that we mentioned earlier when it searched for destroyers that were headed to Guantanamo Bay. The Akron was once again air ready and assisted in a rescue mission when the yacht Curlou went missing.
