The Wake of Harroward
Harroward was captured by a guard at the manor in Brandon, Suffolk. He escaped and made his way to Ealy where he put the camp on high alert for William's arrival. The wake mounted Swallow and galloped out of the manor grounds while a crowd chased behind him with foul language. But Swallow was too fast, and the pair escaped.
