The Role of Parents in Success
The role of the parent has shifted from the 70s to 80s to 90s to 2000s. Parents used to be involved and used to set boundaries and show tough love. Today with forces that we have in play, starting with social media, the children are starved for accountability. The need for achievement is taught. You're not born with the ability to achieve. So if you ask me what's the role, the parent, role number one is model expectations.
