How to Cook an Ostrich Egg

Ostrich eggs have been found largely in ancient tombs all across southern Europe. This implies that there must have been a complex network of trade happening across this part of the ancient world. Tamar said she found out for herself when she arranged an Arts and Craft Day at the British Museum. We used a variety of tools that we thought ancient craftsmen would have had to try to recreate the ancient techniques. Was it fun or was it just frustrating? It was both.
