The Advantages of Family Offices Over Venture Funds
The first round was really what I'll call true friends and family to traditional raise of a startup. Promethean partners, which is a private equity firm that originally started in the UK,. They're managing director lives in the US. And they were looking for their first what I call anchor US investment. So they led our they led that first round. But then we also had, I would say, probably eight to 10 large family offices between US family offices and UK family offices. The advantage I think the family offices have over venture capital is family offices tend to think from an investor standpoint, and it with a different mindset.
