The Importance of History in a Film
When you're writing a script that's basically a piece of fiction, you can go either way. But when you're writing something historical, don't you have an obligation to the history? Yes. And I learned so much that at some point with Mariano Ginozc was my co-writer. When we started to write, we said, OK, we already know too much. Now we have to do a film. and we need to forget about what we learned in a way.
