Quentin's usual routine was ruined by thick fog. He could barely see a metre in front of his face. As he climbed down the hillside, Quentin could not push down a feeling of terror. It had felt so much like purgatory that walked from the house that he found himself somehow disappointed not to arrive at heaven or hell.
