The Rise of the Ukrainian Players on the Tour

After Wimbledon this year, the rankings will be back in their traditional 52 week cycle with everything counting. What I think needs to happen maybe next is with that being tennis's line in the sand, it still needs to think about how best to look after the Ukrainian players on the tour. We saw quite a lot of discontent from Ukrainian players behind the scenes. There was an incident of pot of over coming onto court in a Spartak Moscow shirt during Indian Wells. It has not been particularly comfortable for a lot of Ukrainian players. If tennis has decided that Russians and better Russians can play, which it seems to have done, I do still think there are some steps that the tours need to take
