If you talk about causal learning at all, a learning has to quire some sort of standard of correctness. Pos learning experiments are gong to be about that. It's really pretty straightforward what the interpret causal interpretation is supposed to be. The issue is just more whether some a reasoning procedure or learning procedure ias going to get you to the correct result.
