Is There a Difference Between Cybernetics and Indigenous Knowledge and the Colonial Establishment?
I wanted to go back to the role maybe of like indigenous knowledge and the colonial establishment in creating this series. What was it like to look closely at, you know, just how they were conducting research in Indonesia for example? Fascinating. So there's a, there's a couple of things that are kind of interesting to me. Okay, one thing I was so people talk about cybernetics is coming out of World War II military laboratories largely run by the United States. The actual cybernetics group started taking shape in the early 40s.
