Solar Heating Effect
Humidity is by far the largest influential factor. We're running into more and more of that. The most common underlying surface of those artificial surfaces is ground up automobile tires. All those artificial surfaces are now contributing to that solar heating effect because of the manner in which those surfces are manufactured.
