I don't know that anyone can really plan their life around becoming a judge, much much less a justice. There's always a certain amount of luck involved. She is very lucky in that she was in the right place when joe biden happened to be president. He has been looking for candidates who have done a very particular kind of public service work and representing the most vulnerable people in society.
