What Will People Think of the Lists?

Black Vermont men and women put their names on a list to raise money for charity. Many received cash, but some were hesitant about the idea of receiving donations from strangers. One man was worried that he would lose respect if people knew his story. Another said it made him think more deeply about why white people have more money than black people.
