Harvard's current diversity statistics by ethnicity say that in their most recently admitted class, African American is 15.2%. If Harvard only uses grade point averages and standardized test scores as a metric for admissions, it's likely that Asian Americans will make up about 50% of the incoming freshman class. But no one is advocating, nor do we think that Harvard or any competitive university is just going to say, "We can't use race"
