The Importance of Contingent Participation
I felt like it was a mistake for the United States from a national security level. Bagram Air Force base is the most strategic place in the globe between Iraq and Iran, Russia and China. The only people that benefit from our absence there would be our enemies. I do believe in a contingent portion around the world. We should have just turned it over kind of kind of announced the victory handed it over to international community and continue to participate.
